The Leaky Cauldronnn.

I have my internet back! Woohooo. I wish I wasn't so tired at the end of my days that I didn't post just anything. Hopefully once the show is over I won't be so tired. (Not till March, sorrryyyy.) I'm gonna go listen to Pottercast now.

Brain vs. the rest of me.

The thing with three-day weekends is, although they are freakin' awesome, it makes it so much harder to go back to school the next day. I've apparently gotten better, but can't seem to shake this damn cough. It's really starting to bug the crap out of me, I want my voice back! I miss singing. I miss belting during rehearsals. How can I be Mama if I can't belt? Sheeeeesh. My body just doesn't like to listen to my brain. It's like all my other organs have a grudge against my brain cause it knows it's soooooo much better than the rest of them. It's not my brain's fault! Does anybody have any book suggestions? I need to go pick up some more. All recommendations are appreciated!

I want to read 50 books this year.

This is where I'll keep track.

1. Looking for Alaska by John Green (Everyone needs to read this book, IMMEDIATELY.)
2. Bergdorf Blondes by Plum Sykes (I indulged myself in a total guilty pleasure book.)
3. Macbeth by William Shakespeare (This puts his other work TO SHAME.)
4. Nights in Roadanthe by Nicholas Sparks (Does he always have to be so damn depressing?)
5. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (The infatuation begins...)
6. New Moon by Stephenie Meyer (It grows, and grows, and grows...)
7. Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer (Shit, I'm completely in love with a fictional character.)
8. The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare (What a crappy ass ending.)
9. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling (It's summer, which means it's time to re-read the Harry Potter series. It's what I do.)

To read:
-The rest of the Harry Potter series
-I just picked up Nerdfighting book 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson
-I need to get An Abundance of Katherines by John Green
-Breaking Dawn!!!

Suggestions and recommendations are still greatly appreciated. =)

Looking for Alaska in a puddle outside my house.

I spent a considerable amount of today reading Looking for Alaska, or rather, catching up on Brotherhood 2.0 videos while intermittently reading while the video loaded. I think it rained a grand total of 20 Noah's Ark floods today. It was kind of ridiculous, but the best kind of reading weather. I'm hoping to go to Disneyland tomorrow, but my mother, or the killer of dreams as she is more affectionately known, keeps reminding me of the rain coming that is going to indeed "rain on my parade". Also, my little sister still has to go to school or something which is a total buzz kill for me. So now I'm going to return to Looking for Alaska, hoping it gets better than the first impression 50 pages has left in my mouth.

Na na na na na...

Today I went to Barnes and Noble to look for a new book to read. Especially since it's raining and that is perfect reading weather. I went acting like I was gonna search for something, but I knew I would end up getting John Green's Looking For Alaska cause I've been so into nerd fighting lately and all the nerd fighters rave about it not just cause they're nerd fighters. So I'm gonna start it tonight and probably read all night. Looove.

Holy crap!

I have Monday off! Freakin' sweeeeeet. So now I just need to find someone to go to Disneyland with my cause it's not blacked outttt. Today was pretty fun cause I didn't do much even though I was still at school till four. First semester is done and over with, now only one more semester till I'm outta here! Whoooo!

...I can't I have rehearsals.

I'm at school...unfortunately. I wish I was at home in
bed, ugh! I'm starting to get somewhat better, but
that's not saying much cause I still feel like crap!

Somebody shoot me...

I'm not feeling any better. =(

Shiiiiit.

I am unbelievably sick, like I don't know what I did to deserve this. For three days I have: had a fever, had a migraine, thrown up every 10 minutes, and been completely dehydrated because I couldn't hold down water. I'm still pretty shit, but it's not AS bad as it was three days ago, but that's not saying much.

P.S. RIP Heath Ledger, this is so sad.

Mi casa es su casa.

See, I have a right to say that cause I'm Mexican.
Anywho, I'm spending the day at my sister's playing Mario Party 8, woohoo!

Edit: I lied. I came home for a while cause she has to work, but I'm going back later. I love three-day weekends, but I wish it was summer already! Or I wish I was in college, that would just be the best. I think I'm gonna go watch Brotherhood 2.0 now.

I love three-day weekends.

They're pretty awesome, cause well, they're three days instead of two. Except all I've done today is lounge around in my bed with a laptop watching Brotherhood 2.0 videos. I should probably do something else. I went to Target today and tried to find a new book to read but Target doesn't seem to have the biggest selection of books to choose from. I went over to the music section where I was immediately surrounded by the Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, and all the High School Musical Soundtracks (there are like 20, right?) with the occasional attempt for some indie cred: the Juno soundtrack and Radiohead. It saddened me a bit to see such crap music everywhere, but hopefully kids will grow out of that Hannah phase. Isn't she pregnant yet?

In other news I joined up in this challenge today to blog every day for the rest of the year. It can be a word, a picture, anything. As long as it's every day. I thought it would be fun to try out, especially considering I'll be starting college this year. I'll see if I can really stick to my word and it'll be fun to document the start of college. Nerd fighter signing off!

P.S. I think comments would be real encouragement for me, and I need all the encouragement I can get. So even if you want to tell me what a crap job I do at blogging or how boring my life is, please do.
