i met hank green today. he is one half of the vlogbrothers, and a person i literally owe a lot to. it was like meeting half of j.k. rowling in a way. not quite as much because i've only been nerdfighting for 2 years, but still pretty significant. i promised myself i wouldn't back out of really telling him what i wanted to, like i did when i talked to john three times. so i told him. i thanked him for everything and explained what project for awesome had done for me. how it was a horrible day. how my mom had just had surgery. halfway through i almost started crying, i was shaking, and he just held out his arms to hug me. he hugged me hard and kept me there for a few seconds and let me finish. i needed that. i really did.

anyways, it made me remember this comment i made on the p4a experience to a friend who interviewed me about it:

After I came home from seeing her at the hospital I went straight to my computer to get my mind off things and help the project, to find out they were just about to start commenting and addressing my video. Lauren went home today. She stayed with me this weekend and I don't know, it was just so effortless. She walked in and I kinda felt like she belonged here, like we'd been living together forever. Sigh. I miss her. I also miss Nicole who lives super close but I don't see her too often. This weekend has been amazing and I can't wait for many more to come.

Also, we all went to Borders and I bought three books to fuel my 75 books challenge. Right now I'm reading Go Ask Alice cos surprisingly, I've never read it. Go me! Suggestions are appreciated because I will actually go out and buy them this time, yay!

I've watched Hairspray three times today. Just to watch James Marsden dance. He is sooooooooooooo much better looking than Zefron. I don't know if you've paid attention, he's CREEPY in this movie. He's a creeper. It's all about the Marsden.

Earlier today I was in on the live blog with John Green. I was in the main chat and had waaaaaaaaay too much fun. I couldn't think of any questions of substance except favourite Beatles song and something else I can't even remember. At the beginning I told him "Nice lighting" and he remarked on that, thought I was being sarcastic. It made me way too happy. I can't wait to meet him and Hank when they come out somewhere this way in October or November. NERDFIGHTERS, DFTBA.

I need a fix cause I'm goin' down...

I was off today, which was nice but it's still Monday which isn't so nice. I don't even know what holiday it is. I'm totally watching the Tyra show right now which I think should be labeled "comedy" instead of "talk show" because it's hilarious. She makes everything about herself, and I just...I don't know how she could do that, but she manages. This episode is about cyber bulling, wow. And yet somehow she relates it back to herself.

Today I talked to one of my friends on the phone for a half hour, which was refreshing cause I hardly talk with friends on the phone anymore. Maybe it's also cause it's hard to keep my attention on the phone.

I went to the beach yesterday and god damn I want to go back already. I miss it.

I don't think I've talked about this but basically I only applied to three colleges. I applied to UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, and Berkeley. I already got into Santa Barbara through a program in September and it's my second choice. So basically if I don't get Berkeley, I'm going to Santa Barbara. I only applied to UCLA to let my parents think I'm considering staying at home. Berkeley is my top choice. Like that is it. It's what I want. So I found out that March 27th is when Berkeley tells me if I got accepted. My birthday is March 29th. My big 18. So, Berkeley decides not only my future but my birthday. If I get in, I'll be freakin' partying and if I don't, you can find me huddled in a corner in my room crying.

Today I went to Barnes and Noble to look for a new book to read. Especially since it's raining and that is perfect reading weather. I went acting like I was gonna search for something, but I knew I would end up getting John Green's Looking For Alaska cause I've been so into nerd fighting lately and all the nerd fighters rave about it not just cause they're nerd fighters. So I'm gonna start it tonight and probably read all night. Looove.
